EL ORIGEN DE CASA ELOINDA...

Casa Eloinda was created to bring people thoughtfully handmade goods. Completely inspired by my childhood vacations to the rural mountains of Nuevo Leon Mexico, I bring together designs that reflect the memories of that sacred land. From the turquoise house of my abuela, down to the thirsty earth, and all the way across the dry green vegetation - these are the thoughts surrounding my creations. Memories packed into thoughtfully handmade goods. The name of Casa Eloinda originates from the spanish word “Casa” translating to “home” and my late mother’s unique name of Eloinda. Bringing together these two words of comfort and love are what I hope these goods bring to your sacred spaces.

Nice to meet you!

I'm Kathy, the owner and face behind Casa Eloinda!  I hand make all of our items in the shop.  I am a coffee addict, an Atlanta United soccer fan, a dog lover, and when I'm not working or making stuff out of clay I love spending time with my family and boyfriend! I was born and raised in Georgia #georgiapeach but grew up in a household full of Mexican culture. My parents were both born in Mexico, and I was blessed to grow up with my childhood summers spent in their small "ranchitos" (aka villages/towns/ranches) in Mexico. My summers were spent playing in the mud (I think my love of clay began there) and playing street soccer in the dirt filled roads with all of the children in the small towns.  Some of my inspiration for the work in the shop is inspired from those childhood memories. I'm glad you are here and appreciate all of your support!

XOXO -Kathy
